Instructional Objectives:
This course explains and demonstrates how to manage the parish websites powered by WordPress, a content management tool. WordPress is a popular, powerful web-based software which allows users to manage a website’s content easily. Basic training will demonstrate most of what the user needs to do.
By the end of this course, participants will know how to:
- access their website admin area.
- add, edit, and remove pages, text, images, media, and other content.
- use pages and posts.
- edit content outside of the main content area.
- create and manage links to pages, media, and external sites.
- create and manage forms and data.
- manage web tools and use them properly.
- ask for assistance.
- find information online.
